From January 2 to January 5, 2024, FLIS teamed up with the Bank of China (Fuzhou Gulou Sub-Branch) to hold a four-day financial study tour. As China's longest continually operating bank, the Bank of China was founded in 1912, and today its international standing, competitiveness, and comprehensive strength rank among the top large banks in the world. The event began with a piece of history not so familiar to the students: the group traveled to Quanzhou to learn about the history of the Qiaopi.

Qiaopi is a collective name for letters and remittances sent by overseas Chinese to their families in their hometowns, which is a precious archive reflecting the history of overseas Chinese hometowns with the most complete and the largest number of folk cultural relics preserved, as well as a precious archive for studying the history of overseas Chinese in the modern times. Through visiting Quanzhou Maritime Museum and Quanzhou Qiaopi Cultural Relics Museum, under the explanation of Mr. Huang Qinghai from the Bank of China Quanzhou Branch, a nationally renowned expert on Qiaopi, students explored the circulation of finance in the international arena, and gained an in-depth understanding of how it played a role in the war and its development, as well as anecdotal stories of family and national.

Back to modern times, and through the wealth accumulation sand table game, students experience the wealth accumulation of each time period of the whole life cycle, learn to set wealth goals, accumulate wealth, integrate resources, and enhance the ability of wealth planning and cooperation. With the introduction of digital currency experts, students also gained a certain understanding of the emergence and development of E-CNY (Digital Currency Electronic Payment), the difference between it and other digital currencies or trading tools, and some of the dilemmas it faces.
