Fine Art Teacher丨美术教师

Mr Hank graduated from School of Fine Arts of Jimei University, majored in oil painting. He has been teaching in Xiamen for several years. Besides oil painting, he is also good at Chinese painting, seal cutting, engraving, and lacquer painting. 

Hank老师从小就十分喜爱绘画，毕业于集美大学油画专业，此前在厦门教学多年，他擅长油画，国画，雕刻，漆画和艺术史等等。

Integrate traditional Chinese art and culture into PYP visual arts courses, combine folk art, calligraphy and traditional crafts with IB transdisciplinary inquiry, help students build cultural confidence and expand their international perspective. Focus on differentiated teaching to enable every student to give full play to their strengths in art classes.

他将中国传统艺术与文化融入PYP美术课程，结合民间艺术、书法、传统工艺与IB超学科探究，帮助学生树立文化自信并拓展国际视野。注重差异化教学，让每位学生都能在艺术课堂中发挥特长。

Mr Hank believes that art is a universal language that empowers every child to explore, express, and celebrate their unique identity. In his PYP visual arts classroom, Mr Hank fosters a student-centered, inquiry-based learning environment where curiosity is nurtured, creativity is celebrated, and every student feels safe to take creative risks. He guides students to connect art with real-world issues, cultural heritage, and transdisciplinary themes, helping them develop critical thinking, visual literacy, and a lifelong love for creative expression.
