圣诞季也是福州西湖国际学校一年一度的慈善季。2023年12月，FLIS将携手福州荟聚及宜家福州商场举办2023年圣诞艺术展，在传统北欧圣诞元素满载的童话氛围中，感受青少年的自我探索与表达。现场所获收益将用于捐助白血病患儿公益组织【福州小家】。

The Christmas season is also the annual charity season for Fuzhou Lakeside International School (FLIS). In December 2023, FLIS will join hands with Fuzhou Livat™ and IKEA Fuzhou store, to host the 2023 Christmas Art Exhibition, where youngsters' self-exploration and expression will be experienced in a fairytale atmosphere full of traditional Scandinavian Christmas elements. All proceeds will go to the [Fuzhou Hope Home].

福州小家

FUZHOU HOPE HOME

成立于2016年的慈善机构，致力于为远离家乡赴陌生大城市就医的贫困患儿（以白血病患儿为主）及家长提供暂时过渡的居所，解决他们在榕求医期间衣食住行等生活问题，为患儿提供种种支持。FLIS与福州小家合作已超过三年，为此开展了各式各样的慈善活动，包括2021年的圣诞集市、福州小家 - FLIS高中志愿者服务项目等。

*Fuzhou Hope Home is a charitable organization set up in 2016 to provide temporary transitional housing for poor children (mainly children with leukemia) and their parents who travel far from home to seek medical treatment in unfamiliar big cities, and to solve their living problems such as food, clothing, housing and transportation during their stay in Fuzhou. FLIS has worked in partnership with the Hope Home for over three years now, having run various fundraising activities including the Christmas Fair 2021 and volunteering program.

2023年圣诞艺术展名为“探索之路”，旨在探索我们寻觅与抒发自身情感、天性、文化、信仰和价值观的方式。与此同时，创作者及观众也可以反思、扩展和享受创造力，通过各种方式培养审美鉴赏力。

The Path of Discovery exhibition is concerned with exploring the ways in which we discover and express our feelings, nature, culture, beliefs and values.  We also can reflect on, extend and enjoy our creativity and develop our appreciation of the aesthetic in the ways.

届时将展出油画、素描、数字绘画、平面设计和产品设计等不同艺术形式和媒介的作品，内容包括人物、肖像、风景、童话、抽象风格以及广告设计类人文表达。这是近年来FLIS学子作品的一次集大成展示，现场师生还将带领顾客一同制作木工艺品—圣诞驯鹿，让更多年轻人以及年轻家庭感受北欧圣诞童话氛围。欢迎驻足欣赏，我们期待您的光临！

Artworks in different art forms and media such as oil painting, drawing, digital painting, graphic design and product design will be on display, including characters, portraits, landscapes, fairy tales, abstract style and advertising for personal and cultural expression. This is a showcase of the works of FLIS students in recent years, and teachers and students will also lead customers to make wooden crafts - Santa Claus's reindeer, so that more young people and young families can experience the Scandinavian Christmas atmosphere.
