本年度福州西湖国际学校才艺秀于6月2日盛大开场！暂别一年后，才艺秀在学子的呼声中以更加完备的面貌回归：舞台升级，节目加码，更多学子有机会踏上展示自我的舞台，台下观众也能一口气看个尽兴。今年，我们特地以校歌「Becoming Stars」之名作为才艺秀主题：加入FLIS就是一个发现自我、绽放光芒的过程。我们希望每位学子都能从 FLIS 出发，成为一颗星，汇成万千星辉，点亮宇宙无垠，尽情展示独一无二的光芒。

This year's Fuzhou Lakeside International School Talent Show kicked off on June 2! After a one-year hiatus, the talent show returned with a more complete look: more students had the opportunity to showcase themselves on stage, and the audience was able to enjoy more genres of performance in one sitting. This year, we are using the school song "Becoming Stars" as the theme for the talent show: joining FLIS is a process of self-discovery and shining. We hope that each student can become a star from FLIS, and become a thousand stars to light up the universe and show their unique light.

经过一年又一年的历练，FLIS乐队已成了舞台上旗帜一般的存在，既是仰望的对象，也是追逐的目标。今年才艺秀，FLIS乐队再次作为开场表演者登场，一首英伦摇滚金曲勾起思绪万千；接下来表演的一年级鼓手Arthur, 则是乐队不折不扣的“小迷弟”——痴迷架子鼓的他在就读FLIS幼儿园时就梦想加入乐队，还给自己定下了“考取架子鼓十级后荣升乐队成员”的目标！欣赏完Arthur的solo表演，你是否也在心中祝他早日实现梦想呢？

After year of experience, FLIS has become a banner on the stage, both an idol to look up to and a goal to pursue. This year's talent show, FLIS Band again open the show with a classic British rock song to evoke a lot of thoughts; Arthur, the first grade drummer who performed next, is a true "fan" of the band - he has been dreaming of joining the band since he was a ECE student at FLIS, and has set himself the goal of becoming a member of the band after getting his level 10 in drums! After enjoying Arthur's solo performance, do you also wish him to realize his dream soon?

本届才艺秀堪称“舞林大会”，拉丁舞、街舞、Kpop舞蹈……各种舞种荟萃一堂，动感活力、甜美青春、酷炫舞步，应有尽有……连刚刚过完六一儿童节的幼儿园小朋友也献上了让人忘忧的可爱舞蹈！

This year's talent show can be called something like a "dance conference", Latin dance, street dance, Kpop dance… we truly have all kinds of dance together. Even ECE students, who just celebrated Children’s Day the day before, also offered a lovely dance to make people forget their worries!

声乐节目也亮点多多，我们在Carlyn同学悠扬有力的歌声中眺望远方的海平线；一首Love Scenario引出一幕幕爱的连续剧；才华横溢、从六年级就开始创作的Gus同学演唱了原创填词作品，赢得喝彩一片。唱跳节目以外，器乐节目也令观众惊喜连连，曾携作品斩获多项国际竖琴奖项的Helen同学奏响一曲Baroque Flamenco, 优美的旋律与竖琴高雅的音色让人顿时置身音乐圣殿……

The vocal program was also full of highlights. We looked out over the horizon with Carlyn's powerful and melodious voice; with the song titled “Love Scenario”, audience enjoyed the bittersweet love drama; and Gus, a talented songwriter since he was in sixth grade, who sang his original lyrics and won a lot of applause. Besides singing and dancing, the audience was also surprised by the instrumental music program. Helen, who has won many international harp awards with her works, played a Baroque Flamenco, the beautiful melody and the elegant sound of the harp made people feel like they were in a musical sanctuary…

FLIS丰富的课后社团体系向来在学子中备受欢迎，此次演出，FLIS古典室内乐团、FLIS合唱团与流行舞社团均有精彩表现。学校体系之外，逐梦道路上，家庭的支持也极为关键，当天，不少节目背后都凝聚了“小明星”爸爸妈妈的辛苦付出，也不止一位表演者通过节目倾诉了对家人亲友一路陪伴的感谢。

FLIS' rich after-school club system has always been popular among students, and the FLIS Chamber Music Club, FLIS Chorus, and Pop Dance Club both performed wonderfully in today’s talent show. In addition to the school system, family support is also crucial on the road of pursuing dreams. On that day, behind many of the programs was the hard work of the parents of the "little stars", and more than one performer expressed their gratitude to their family and friends for accompanying them all the way through the program.

演出在全场齐声合唱「Becoming Stars」的歌声中落幕。夜空繁星点点，尽管闪耀的季节不定、空间不同，但每颗星星都有独特的魅力与光彩，一如相聚在此的你我——请相信，这一夜，我们拥有群星。感谢每一位表演者，感谢所有台前幕后的工作人员和现场的观众朋友们，希望我们都能成为夜空中闪亮的星星，不仅点亮自我，也为彼此的未来启明。明年FLIS才艺秀再会！

The show ended with the chorus of "Becoming Stars". The night sky is dotted with stars, and although the seasons and spaces are different, each star has a unique charm and brilliance, just like you and I who are gathered here - please believe that tonight, we have the stars. Thank you to each and every performer, to all the staff and friends on stage and behind the scenes, and to the audience.
