在这个炎热的夏天，三位福州西湖国际学校的学生前往福建日报东南网-海外部实习。此次实习于8月13日圆满落幕。三位初入高中的学生为Cindy同学、Anna同学与Vivi同学。让我们一起探索几位学子受益匪浅的实习过程，欣赏她们学成而归的结果吧！

In this hot summer, the internship of three Fuzhou Lakeside International School students to the overseas department of Fujian Daily Southeast Network came to a successful conclusion on August 13. The three students, Cindy, Anna and Vivi are recently graduated from MYP4. 

不积小流，无以成江海。”

No accumulation of steps,

can’t lead to thousand miles;

no integration of streams,

can’t result in seas and oceans.

当三位FLIS学生来参加福建日报东南网海外部的实习，其实内心是忐忑的，刚刚升入高中的她们担心自己无法很快适应导师布置的任务。但是当她们再三考虑时，她们认为既然自己清晰地知道自身情况的不足，所以就应该以人之长，补己之短，利用在报社实习的机会，跟着导师学到更多关于新闻的知识。
When three students who have just graduated from FLIS MYP4 come to participate in the internship at fjsen.com of Fujian Daily, they were actually worried and afraid. The girls, who had just entered high school, were worried that they would not be able to adapt quickly to the tasks assigned by their instructors. However, when they think about it again and again, they thought that since they clearly know the shortcomings of their own situation, they should use their strengths to make up for their weaknesses, and make use of the opportunity they have to learn about more about news with their tutors. Therefore, they can make up for their lack of knowledge in the field of news.

☞ Anna

Anna同学跟着她的导师跟进《印象·福州》的项目，为“海外华裔青少年聊福州晒一晒你喜欢的福州是什么样的”征集活动设计并制作纪念卡片证书。在设计纪念卡片的过程中，她意识到设计是一件多么难的事情，因为她要在满足客户要求的前提下，同时追求美观。
Anna worked on the project of "Impression of Fuzhou" with her tutor to design and make commemorative cards and certificates for "Overseas Chinese teenagers talk about Fuzhou and share what you like about Fuzhou". When designing the cards, she realized how difficult it was to design, because she wanted to satisfy the clients and at the same time pursue beauty. 


“而借此机会，我相信自己在这些方面有了长足的进步。因此，我认为能在福建日报东南网海外部实习，给我带来了很大的收获。”
"And with this internship, I believe I can improve in these areas. Therefore, I think it would be very rewarding for me to have an internship in Fujian Daily."

☞ Vivi

Vivi同学的导师，第一天给她的任务是为中国共产党成立100周年和福州经济发展的主题拟一个标题和一个采访提纲。在之前，Vivi同学并没有接触任何关于这个主题的作业，所以不难看出她在写这份提纲的时遇到了不少困难，但是在坚持调查下，她终于成功地拟出了标题和一份采访提纲。
On the first day, Vivi’s tutor assigned her a task of drawing up a title and an interview outline on the topics of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and the Economic Development of Fuzhou. Before, she wasn’t familiar with this topic, so she had a very difficult process in writing this outline. However, with her persistent research on this topic, she finally succeeded in drawing up the title and an interview outline.  


“由于对于这个主题我毫无头绪，也有想过放弃，但一想到这可能就是我学习的机会，我立马就沉下心，继续调查关于这个主题的相关信息。”
"As I had no clue about the subject, I thought about giving it up, but thinking it could be my opportunity to learn, I immediately settled down and continued to investigate the subject."  

接下来的实习中，老师只给了她两个任务，做一个妈祖图片文化展和中秋的H5，但是鉴于Vivi同学没有做过H5的经历，所以老师提出了让她在word上把双语文本以及图片整理完。这个任务其实对她不是很难，因为是她擅长和熟悉的一块领域：调查、分析，和翻译。于是接下来的工作也很顺利。
Afterwards, the teacher gave her two more tasks: to do a Mazu picture culture exhibition and a Mid-Autumn Festival H5, but since she had no experience of making a H5, the teacher asked her to finish it in a Word document. The task was then not so difficult for her, as it was in an area that she was good at: research, analysis, and translation. Therefore, the task became easier and being completed successfully.

☞ Cindy

Cindy同学在导师的指导下学会了如何去运营和策划一个社交平台的账号以及完成一份市场调研。
Cindy' tutor taught her how to operate and plan an account on a social platform and how to complete a market research.


完成账号策划后便需要开始做市场调研。市场调研的主要内容包括查找跟自己账号相近的账号然后分析那些账号的基本内容，学习视频的剪辑方法，了解账号的特点、粉丝数、最高播放量，和平台。在做市场调研的过程中她发现不同国家社交平台的观众对一个视频会有不同的反应，正是因此做市场调研时需要对比每个国家的社交平台是如何看待同一个视频，再根据自己的目标受众来制作出自己的作品。
After finishing account planning, she started to do marketing research. The main content of market research included finding accounts similar to one's own account and analyzing the basic content of which accounts, video editing methods, account characteristics, number of fans, the highest number of plays and platforms. While working on marketing research, she found that audience from different countries have different reactions to a particular video. Therefore, when doing market research, it was necessary to compare how social platforms in each country view a video, and then create their own works according to their target audience.


“虽然只实习了短短的两周……但是经过这一次的实习我收获了许多新知识。”

"Even though the internship was only two weeks long... But I gained a lot of new knowledge through this internship."
