福州西湖国际学校于2019年4月19日举行了春季学期的家长会。我校家长会采取预约制，每名家长均有单独与老师交谈的机会，双语教师也会在场为有需要的家长提供翻译帮助。在此次会晤中，老师与家长分享了学生的学习进度和学习情况，追踪学生的优缺点、需求、习惯与学习方式，双方共同探讨未来学生的学习策略，以便帮助学生取得更大的进步。
Fuzhou Lakeside International School held its second bi-annual parent-teacher conference during the morning and afternoon sessions on Friday, April 19th, 2019. Parents made appointments with homeroom and specialist teachers to discuss student strengths and areas for improvement. FLIS provides conferences in both English and Mandarin with translation help from FLIS bilingual teachers. In the meeting, parents and teachers worked effectively on several important issues such as:


• Sharing academic progress and data


• Learning from each other so we can be better informed about student strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles.


• Discussing enrichment or intervention strategies to support students' learning.


• Discussing issues that may be interfering with students' learning and growth.
