2019年11月28日下午和29日下午，我校联合福州特勤消防大队二中队开展两场消防安全演习。
On the afternoon of November 28 and 29, 2019, Fuzhou Lakeside International School conducted two fire safety drills with the Second Squadron Special Service Team of Fuzhou Fire Brigade.
第一场：学校教职工消防演习。11月28日下午消防安全演习分三步走，第一步介绍我校紧急报警铃的位置、逃生线路图，以及当发生突发事件要如何处理、组织疏散学生等；第二步由福州特勤消防大队二中队邓班长介绍火灾的类型、相应的处理方式、灭火器的正确操作规范；第三步，学校员工灭火器使用实操。
The first one was school staff fire drill, which was conducted in three steps. The first step was to introduce the location of the emergency alarm bell and the escape route map of FLIS, as well as how to deal with emergencies and organize evacuation of students. The second step was to introduce the type of fire, the corresponding way of dealing with the fire, the correct operation of the fire extinguisher by our invited firefighters. The third step allowed school staff to practice using fire extinguisher.
第二场：全校消防逃生演习。29日下午消防安全演习分二步开展，第一步福州特勤消防大队二中队安排二辆消防车入校，消防员介绍装备及学生参观消防消防车；第二步，当火灾发生时师生员工的紧急疏散与自救演习。
The second one was students’ fire escape drill, which was on the afternoon of 29th, in two steps. Firefighters introduced the fire-fighting equipment to students and let them visit the fire fighting truck at first step. The second step was the emergency evacuation and self-rescue drill for teachers, students and staff when fire breaks out.
通过此次消防安全演习，进一步增强了我校全体师生员工的消防安全意识，提高了师生紧急避险的自救能力，熟悉了应急疏散的正确路线；同时全校师生对逆向前行，自我牺牲，保卫家园的消防战士有了更深刻的了解，对消防员的工作致以崇高的敬意！
Through this fire safety drill, we have further enhanced the fire safety awareness of all teachers and students in our school, enhanced the teachers and students' ability to save themselves in case of emergency, and got familiar with the correct route of emergency evacuation. At the same time, all the teachers and students were excited to have a deeper understanding of the firefighter, and have a chance to pay high tribute to their work!
